Introduction of Experience Letter

The letter of experience of the company is a formal document written by the current or former employer confirming the time spent by the employee with the company and the knowledge, skills, and experience gained there. The purpose of a letter of experience of a company is to validate claims made by a job candidate concerning their skills and experience in their resume, cover letter, or Curriculum vitae (CV). This is one of the most valuable documents that individuals may have to add to their work portfolio. Before you accept an employee’s request to write a letter of experience to the company, ensure that:

  1. You have direct knowledge of the worker’s work experience and skills.
  2. There is positive feedback that you can give to the employee.
  3. You can describe specific examples of the employee’s working habits, skills, or experience.

Tips for Contents of Experience Letter

You can think of a letter of company experience as a shorter version of a letter of recommendation. Follow these ten steps when writing a letter of experience for a company and they are-

  1. Use the letterhead of the company.
  2. Include the date of the issue.
  3. Write a greeting to you.
  4. Include the full name of the employee.
  5. Include the title or designation of the employee.
  6. Include the name of your company.
  7. State the period of employment of the employee with your company.
  8. Describe your employee.
  9. Write a positive statement about the future of the employee to close the letter.
  10. Include a signature line, please.
